আজ বৃহস্পতিবার (৫ অক্টোবর) বিশ্ব শিক্ষক দিবস। ১৯৯৪ সাল থেকে জাতিসংঘের অঙ্গসংস্থা ইউনেস্কোর উদ্যোগে প্রতিবছর ৫ অক্টোবর এ দিবসটি উদযাপিত হয়। এ বছরের বিশ্ব শিক্ষক দিবসের প্রতিপাদ্য হচ্ছে ‘ভবিষ্যতের সংকট মোকাবিলায় শিক্ষকসমাজ’।
