আজ বৃহস্পতিবার (৫ অক্টোবর) বিশ্ব শিক্ষক দিবস। ১৯৯৪ সাল থেকে জাতিসংঘের অঙ্গসংস্থা ইউনেস্কোর উদ্যোগে প্রতিবছর ৫ অক্টোবর এ দিবসটি উদযাপিত হয়। এ বছরের বিশ্ব শিক্ষক দিবসের প্রতিপাদ্য হচ্ছে ‘ভবিষ্যতের সংকট মোকাবিলায় শিক্ষকসমাজ’।
শিক্ষক এবং শিক্ষার প্রতি যথেষ্ট সম্মান আজ জাতি দিতে পারেন না। তাইতো এখনও অনেক শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান বে- নন- নামক প্রিফিক্স নিয়ে চলতেছে। সেইসাথে মানসম্মত শিক্ষাব্যবস্থা ও ছাত্রছাত্রীদের অবাধ স্বাধীনতা কলুষিত করছে, সমাজ, দেশ ও জাতিকে।

সবাই আমাদের শৈশবের প্রিয় শিক্ষকদের নাম স্মরণ করি (সম্ভব হলে কমেন্টে কিছু বলি) এবং সবার জন্য দোয়া করি।
