Your roster is in one notebook, the lineup is on a card, the practice plan is on a sheet in your bag, and the stats, if anyone kept them, are on a scoresheet that got folded into a jacket pocket. Switching doesn't mean throwing away the habits that work for you. Many coaches still jot down a quick thought on paper during a match and add it to the app later. The point is not to replace your coaching instincts, but to stop losing information between matches and practices. Start small by adding your roster and building your next lineup in the app, then add practice plans and stats as you get comfortable. Within a few weeks, most coaches find they reach for their phone instead of their notebook, simply because everything they need is already there and connected.
