U4GM GTA 5 Weekly Update: Races, Cars, Rewards
August 27 through September 2 is a strong week to put time into GTA Online, especially if you're chasing cash rather than just filling garage slots. For players building out their GTA 5 Accounts, the smartest move is to start with the discounted cars that can still be useful after the event ends. The Coquette D5 drops to $1,211,000 and feels planted in corners, with enough pace for casual Sports-class runs. The ZR350 is the better pick for anyone who spends hours in Los Santos Customs. At its $847,875 trade price, it offers loads of visual parts, drift tuning, and a missile lock-on jammer.
Race payouts worth planning around
Random Transform Races are paying 3x GTA$ and RP all week, while Drift Races sit at 2x. The real window is August 28 to 30, when selected Drift and Transform jobs jump to 6x rewards. That's the sort of bonus where a few decent race sessions can add up fast. There's also a $100,000 challenge bonus for entering three Drift Races. Take the Übermacht Cypher into one of them and you'll receive its camo drift livery within 72 hours. It's a small extra, but Cypher owners may as well grab it.
| Vehicle | Weekly price | Quick take |
|---|---|---|
| Invetero Coquette D5 | $1,211,000 | A solid Sports car with friendly handling. |
| Annis ZR350 | $847,875 trade price | Great for drift builds and custom work. |
| Vapid Flash GT | $1,172,500 | Its pace doesn't match the price. |
| Cheval Taipan | $1,386,000 | Looks sharp, yet struggles to deliver supercar speed. |
Spend carefully on the sale list
Not every 30% reduction is a reason to buy. The Flash GT and Taipan both lose too much speed under engine resistance, and the Taipan can have trouble getting near 120 mph. The Technical Aqua costs $784,000 at trade price, but it's sluggish on water and doesn't offer much room to personalise it. The electric I-Wagen, at $1,204,000, is another expensive disappointment. It has limited upgrades and a weak top speed. Skip the remote-control RC car unless you already use an Arena Workshop. The Duster 300-H and Howard NX-25 are also hard to recommend for regular flying.
Free cars, showrooms, and yard jobs
The Lucky Wheel prize is the Karin Sultan Classic. At the LS Car Meet, finish in the top five of the Series for four straight days to earn the Dinka Veto Classic. Current-console players can try the Imponte Arbiter GT at Hao's Special Works, where it's listed for $2,351,000. Simeon has the FR36, Dominator FX, V-STR, Dominator GTT, and regular Coquette, while Luxury Autos displays the Astron and Itali Classic. Salvage Yard owners can target the Champion, Tailgater S, or Clique this week. Near North Chumash, the Gun Van has the Railgun and a discounted Military Rifle; GTA 5 Accounts for sale can also help players get set before tackling those higher-cost weekly targets.
